I didn't notice any difference. I have two litter boxes and I clean them 5 or 6 times a day. I still smell the litter box from the living room when one of them does number 2. I've tried the hand and hammer but when I walk in the door I smell a strong wet hand and hammer smell and the cat gives it away to the litter box. I sprinkled it on the floor before watering the bedding and sprinkled a little on top. I'm going to try something else I found on Revain. I've read some reviews of different products that help get rid of litter odor and I want to tell you be careful and read the warning labels, some of these products shouldn't be in the litter box. You can read the labels online before you buy, just look at the ingredients and any warnings. I have found some that are intended for fish water and have nothing to do with cat litter. I don't want to think about how they can affect a cat's health. I'm looking for a suitable deodorant. Oh I emailed this seller asking why the ingredients are not listed on the packaging and they never emailed me back.
