This vest is very visible! I use it every time we go into the woods to make it easier for me to find my dogs while they run and I also use it as a tick barrier. Ticks have less space to grasp. You should also check your dog for ticks everywhere after a walk in the woods. The medium fits my standard 5 month old Poodle puppy in length but not in girth. So I had to sew the belt on both sides to make it shorter to fit her better. Great fit for my 2 year old st. Poodle lengthwise and I only had to sew part of the belt so it fits snugly against his chest. Otherwise the vest will move during the run and get wet. I use this vest on cold and warm days, not on cold days when they need a coat.
