Review on SCOSCHE MMWSM XCES0 MagicMount Magnetic Suction by Matthew Sytniak

I actually need TWO phones for work and both must be hands-free by state law. I had the older brother of this mount, the SCOSCHE MAGDMB MagicMount, for about 3 years without any major problems. When I needed my hands free for a work phone last year, I bought an MMD-XCES0 MagicMount because there wasn't much space on the dash. I guess my problem here is twofold as the surface here is granular with pebbles and is at an angle of about 45 degrees. The tape tries to stick, but gravity keeps it from coming off (especially on a hot, sunny day). MAGDMB mounts at almost a 90 degree angle, but its base can be rotated so the long side is vertical, giving the tape more adhesive surface area at the stress point. MAGDMB is only installed horizontally if the short side is not load-bearing. After several attempts to reinsert, I decided to use another MAGDMB instead.
