This is my first irrigator. I've read articles about how flossing cleans better, prevents plaque build-up, and reduces gum disease and gingivitis. I chose this irrigator for its price, design, portability, multiple attachments, and pressure settings. The floss comes in a compact carrying case. This makes it an excellent choice for travel. The hose is made of stainless steel. When not in use, it stows away in the floss and the water reservoir covers the entire device. All tips have threaded metal ends. This provides a secure fit that allows water pressure to flow without the tip detaching. I'm impressed with the performance provided by multiple print settings. Pressure modes - normal, soft, pulsating and nasal. I've tried all the pressures. I prefer a soft setting. With four print settings, everyone can find the one they like. The device is small but powerful. I love that it comes with its own carry case.
