A year later, this pad in my car (on the dash) turned into a mini La Brea tar pit. I'll try to remove it, but I'd like to wait until this winter when it will hopefully firm up in the zero Fahrenheit temps. I live in Ohio and it worked fine in the colder months but as the temps got warmer the seal got dirtier. It began to leave marks on all items that were kept on it. As temperatures got even hotter, every item that came into contact with the mat became covered in a sticky black stain that had to be removed with Goo Gone or a similar product. Once the temp hit 90F the thing basically went liquid and I don't put anything on the dash for fear it might come in contact with it.
