I earn my living as a sea fishing guide. My boat is my office and it is carefully maintained. I had this trolling motor connector fitted to me by reputable Minn Kota service techs (which I've used for years) in February of this year. It's only June and it's failed miserably. The plug keeps water (salt water in my case) inside the case and completely liquefies the metal connections inside.
