While it took me some time to get used to the many settings available on this unit, I am very pleased with the results! This has allowed me to integrate all my old hardware with the latest fancy gadgets available today! I connected everything when the box arrived and. Nothing worked. Haha that was my fault for rushing to wire everything up. I made a few mistakes that cost me a lot of time. This field has a few settings that you need to understand in order for it to work properly, but once you understand the settings, very easy to connect everything correctly and the picture quality is EXCELLENT! I'm in love all over again with my 65" HD TV! I have my ATT cable box, my 5.1 surround sound stereo, Roku, Xbox and Google Chrome TV AND my Bluray DVD player via an optional powered HD switch plugged in. amazed at how gorgeous the picture is now in comparison! Not being able to properly route audio through all devices through the junction box, I was able to route all audio through this box and it works great!All my HDMI, RCA and digital fiber cable audio problems with optical cables were solved! I LOVE this box! Worth every damn penny and somehow solves most if not all of my audio connection problems! 5 stars and well deserved! Sometimes when one of the hardware blocks or the TV "fails" from being unused for a long time, it takes a bit of fiddling and switching to get the sound back, but in the end with enough fiddling I got it fixed in a minute or 2. Just FYI . This isn't a box. Typically, the video component is to blame. Switching from one component to another and then back to the original you're trying to get working usually fixes the audio issue. if you go straight to the tv or surround stereo I mean. Again, this box works great, but you need to know which connections to use with which hardware. If that doesn't work, try a different type of connection if possible. I love this box!
