Reviews about how big they are are no joke. My son is 10 months old and has big feet. He wears size 4 shoes and his feet are very chunky. In fact, he's very tall and stocky - he's about the height and weight of an average 2-year-old. After seeing these shoes and the reviews and sizing recommendations I decided to size 12-18 months. It's a size smaller than I would have ordered with other shoes. Well, they're still huge. It's like they won't even stay on their feet and they end up being about 3/4 inch. However, they are very cute and wide, so they should go well with his thick legs - in another 6 months. I decided to keep the pair I have and order one size for 6-12 months. Hope they fit better. If they don't fit I will update my review, if I don't update you will know that size 6-12 months fits like a size 4.
