This would actually be a negative star rating if I could rate it. I purchased this 100ft cable and upon opening the package I smelled a very strong odor of liquorice which burned my nose. Thought it might just be plastic. After untying the umbilical cord and smelling more and more, my hands started to burn as I untied the umbilical cord with my forearm. Not being allergic to anything, I stopped and ran downstairs to read the label. The label contained the standard California carcinogen warnings, but they did not cause an immediate skin burn. I immediately hopped in the shower and washed for 20 minutes, which seemed to have stopped the burning but left me feeling razor sharp. This continues and is accompanied by chest pains that feel dull after an hour. After researching based on smell and reaction, I found that this is very similar to the chemical reaction found in the highly toxic commercial chemical MCMH. My family had to use gloves to wrap this product and its packaging. I am keeping these and checking with my doctor if there are other risks and if this product needs testing. Out of the hundreds of products I've purchased, this is the first product I've ever felt that I need to warn people and remind them how awesome it is to just get up and go to the store, where I can see and have some more confidence. Instead of wondering if I bought from someone without paying attention to the product they are offering. Wake up call for me to try it this weekend! Dissatisfied.
