An electronic device is not waterproof if it has 2mm wide holes on the front and back! They allow water to enter the case and render the timer unusable for 2 weeks to a month. (Shame on me - I actually bought 2 of those useless things!) The rubber grommet around the rim of the case does not protect the timer from water if there are HOLES in the case. Don't buy this if you expect it to be waterproof!
