I wanted this to increase the distance between the Apple USB-C Multiport Digital AV Adapter and my 2021 iPad Pro. The USB keyboard/mouse input of the multiport adapter was not included. I have tried all the connection options on both sides of this cable. (Both directions to the iPad combined with both directions to the multiport adapter [four total]) Neither passed the USB keyboard input at all. To be clear, if you connect the multiport adapter directly to the iPad, the USB mouse/keyboard input works fine. If this cable is in between, the USB mouse/keyboard will not work at all. The charger still works.
