I bought two. It works with my other 6.0 auto answering phones, now I have 4 phones. I have kids and they are trying to destroy my other two phones. So I bought two new satellite phones and put them up high so my kids couldn't reach them. These phones are rugged and can take so much abuse. the speakerphone went to another phone and i got a typical one. I don't know what happened dad? It looked like it had been submerged in liquid for a short time as milk poured out. I took out the battery, dried it, everything works! You can also hide under the sofa for a few days without draining the battery. With two new phones, I don't have to worry about the battery going dead when I get home from work because my wife chats all day and then forgets to plug it into her charger. Buying additional phones has saved me the stress of running out of battery during an important call. Unless you have a wife and kids, this phone should last forever. if you make it a cheap investment. I'm not old but I like big numbers and big backlit caller id's. The volume is great, the speaker is loud too. I recommend this phone to people like me who like to use the speaker and want to hear it loud!
