The sound quality is great but at least in my car when you crank the volume up to a certain level it makes a weird noise. It connects easily to my phone, it took a while to get the station set up and figured out properly, but once connected I didn't unplug it so there was no problem. There aren't many volume controls that I'm aware of other than car volume and the ability to adjust it on my phone as if AirPods were plugged in.
