Anyone else concerned about tying the probe to the underside of the trolling motor? Directly behind the spinning propeller. is it smart It kind of looked like waiting for an accident, so I went with a stainless steel clamp. It fits perfectly with my Garmin Striker 4 built-in GPS fish finder through the included bracket. I wrapped the motor in thick aviation black tape to protect the paint and the included rubber grommet under the transducer. Now I'm sure I won't find the sonar wire wrapped around the screw. LOL And I even have a backup for the future.
