I was thrilled when I received them in the mail! I think you will get a lot for your money and see how great they are for many projects like belts, aprons, purses etc. However, I bought them to make collars for my dog (she weighs 70 pounds). They are the perfect size but I didn't read the thickness before purchasing and didn't realize it wasn't welded on. I collared her and took her for a walk to try it out and at the end of the driveway she saw a neighbor (whom she loves) and reached out to say hello and it was like the D-ring wasn't there once there. He stretched fully without resistance and my dog lunged at a neighbor. Thank god she caught it. Like I said, that's my fault for not reading the fine print and assuming it could handle my 70lb dog. So there is no negativity for the seller. Just posting it here in case anyone reading reviews is wondering if this will work for large dog collars. In my experience, this particular product is not the best choice for this craft.
