I use it as a day pack. It's almost perfect. If the water bottle holder were about twice the size or had an elastic band to allow for stretch, it could hold regular sized water bottles and be much more functional. Other improvements I would suggest would be a key ring attachment on the inside and waterproofing on the outside. Maybe a glasses hook or something similar on the straps would be helpful. Otherwise it seems to fit well and the strap length is ok. Pretty handsome and classy, if that bothers you. Durability seems good, mostly simply stitched throughout, but that's not a big issue as you won't be carrying very heavy loads in it anyway.
