I had to stop and start the video several times, but other than that it went very smoothly. It wasn't easy to remove the clasp from my strap. butter knife? Not if you have a Bell helmet. This "button" was meant to stay and I needed pliers to remove it. Also, I had to remove all of the slack from my helmet strap to fit snugly in the helmet clip. I was a little worried as I had to take more and more of the long strap out to keep it as snug as possible, like D-rings. The ratchet is slightly longer in this regard, and the included nylon strap that goes through your D-rings can be 1/4 to 1/2 inch longer as it's barely long enough to go through the D-rings and Still leaving you enough to snap the latch. Almost too short! But I love the simplicity of the quick release and have one installed on my Joe Rocket helmet as well. Helmet manufacturers should make helmets with something like this; D-rings suck when you're wearing gloves.
