Review on Rosti Mepal Ellipse Reusable Nordic by Jason Epstein

Bought to take salad to work based on a July 2018 Epicurious article on salad containers for work. The review said it was glass but it wasn't. This is a high-quality transparent plastic (similar to Lexan). Several months of using metal cutlery showed no scratches or scuffs on the bowl. This review also mentions a hidden compartment in the lid for "a small amount of stuffing". That is not correct either. This compartment holds the included sauce container, 3-4 ounces of cooked, shredded chicken, plus an equal amount of other veggies, nuts, etc. In other words, enough filling for a hearty salad. A second reviewer in Epicurious in March 2019 dismissed this container in another adult lunch box review article for being "too big." I find that the main bowl easily holds 3-4 ounces of chopped romaine without mashing. The greens will probably calm down a bit by themselves by noon, but that's okay with me. You might have to be a "Big Salad" fan to love this box. i am and i do
