Supple defiant and elegant. no need to mix these words up often :-)

Use a standard ball joint, it's just awesome! I already have one in my car. USB C which I like, Qi wireless charging and magnetic tips for non-Qi phones. The sensor sits at the bottom of the sensors when you place your phone on it and the mechanized arms open to pick up your phone. release and it closes tightly, holding your phone. Reach out from behind and touch the top of the stand to release your phone. I would like to see a capacitor feature for the motorized release. If you turn off the car, you won't be able to share the phone if your outlets are off when the car is off. It would be nice to have a capacitor bank to allow for another "release" when you turn the machine off (or automatically release it when you turn off the power). All in all a good block. Not only is it fun and stylish, it also looks good in the car. To update. Still loves the cradle. Doesn't like an annoying bug. When I park the car, I can't get my cell phone out of the holder. I have to pry and wiggle it, when I turn off the car the power shuts off. I want it to turn off automatically when the power goes out, or better yet, it has TWO USB-C ports: 1 for the phone and 1 for the stand's mechanical movement system. This will solve a few problems. 1 I could use 2 usb cables and have one for kinematics always on and the other to turn off the phone when the car is off. TWO, that would allow me to turn the phone off while driving but leave the kinematics on. I use an app that notifies me when my phone hits 80%. At that point I usually stop charging it when I get down to 30-40% and plug it back in. However, this extends the battery life. With two plugs, I could finish charging my phone but still use the stand. These are not FAULTS of the stand. These are just features I would love to see added in a future release!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Low maintenance
