I hate the screw holes...really spoil the beauty. There were a few flaws so it's a shame but what can you do, it would be a hassle to send it back. Overall it's still great. Fitting the brackets to the board that holds the mattress was very excruciating! The rest was really easy. This took up most of the time. Shifting the crib levels will cause the crib to be scratched. That brought me to tears. So it sucks because of course we have to adjust it as the kid grows. I still love this bed. It's amazing and exactly what I wanted. Of course, it comes with a 1-inch "mattress," which Safe Sleep says is the only mattress you should use. However, I order a 3 inch mattress instead. Also consider whether you will be using a mobile phone. It has sled-like ends that won't allow that, so we need to put it on the back of the crib. This is a MINI, just what I wanted!
