Unlike other filters, before installing the filter, you need to shake the filter well and put it in cold water for 15 minutes and do not put it in cold water for 1 minute. I skipped this part because I've never had a filter that took 15 minutes. So my water was gray at first. Drained the water, then read the instructions and all is well.
