When my factory charger broke just a year after purchase, I worried that my laptop needed an expensive repair. Luckily this charger works and saved me a lot of money. HOWEVER, it doesn't fit the charger hole as snugly as the original charger. I don't think there should be any concern because it actually works. All in all, the replacement charger is comparable to the original and worth trying if it can save you a trip to the shop!
