I needed some 3.5mm patch cables for the 5.1 PC speaker set I have so I settled on these. They are comfortable to the touch and there were no problems connecting to any of the speakers, even when I went through the cables. Can't speak for the durability of the cable considering I haven't had them very long and don't use them in a very stressful environment where they're being plugged and unplugged, twisted etc (hoping to go connected undamaged between my PC and the base unit of my audio system for a long time), but they seem to be a good design. For the advertised price, they seemed a lot better than the competition when I made my purchase decision. Time will tell if they hold up in the long run, but for my needs I don't see a big problem.
