Review on DNA Motoring RA HCRZ 2 Aluminum Radiator by Ken Booker

The transmission cooling fittings are threaded differently than the OEM threads on the transmission cooling end fittings which should be screwed in but are not. This issue resulted in a loss of time during the installation process. I found out later that the transmission ports on the radiator use 6AN welding on connectors. You can purchase 6AN end fittings for this cooler to work with transmission cooling lines. Another issue with this product is that it may have flaws from the welding work done with these aluminum heatsinks. UPDATE: 05/15/2022, I had to return my first order due to a crooked welded bracket with threaded fittings. for installing normal fans. I ordered another one and this time it didn't have a crooked weld. I was able to successfully install a second aluminum heatsink with some minor issues I encountered. The first issue was that I had to file the plastic on the OEM fan to properly fit the bottom metal brackets onto the aluminum heatsink. The second problem was that there was almost no room to work in the CR-Z, so fitting an aluminum heatsink with standard fans was difficult, but I got around this by installing standard fans after installing the aluminum heatsink. The problem was that the aluminum heatsink is much wider than the stock heatsink. In general, the installation was successful and I don't see any problems with leaks or temperature so far. If I come across anything that might be a potential problem, I'll update this review.
