Review on 🧼 Optimized Nikwax BaseWash by Veronica Wade

AMAZING. MARVELOUS. I really love this cleaner. My husband and I both exercise well (and he hikes/camps) and I haven't been able to find anything that really cleans our dry gear and doesn't just mask the odors with lots of perfume. I've tried just about every major detergent (average grocery store purchase), laundry booster, and several small name brands made specifically for outdoor gear. NOTHING works like this stuff and with a house full of boys I hope I never part with it. I know that some reviews mentioned the price as being overpriced. In my personal opinion this material does its job SO well and I've found I haven't had to use it since the first mass wash (maybe 5-6 weeks ago?). I hope this holds up and I don't have to use it every time I wash these things, once that often can be perfectly fine. This helps me offset the costs. A few people have commented on the chemical smell, which I have terribly neglected; But then again, a lot of the outdoor gear only cleaners I've tried smell like that, so maybe I'm just used to it? In any case, the benefits still outweigh any costs in our house. I use it along with Nikwax "conditioner" so I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes when used together / if the wash would be as effective. one for us. I may try to update this review one day, but for now I'm very happy with the results and plan to continue using both together.
