My toilet's fill valve is not very high, so it seems like the sanitizer from the cartridge returns to the fill valve a little after the water flow is turned off. This is the only toilet in the house that has this problem and the problem occurs around this person, especially even in the previous house. These disinfectant tablets keep bacteria and mold at bay. It will not clean your toilet for you. You need to clean the toilet of feces splashes as usual, which dry up in places where water cannot get in. Mixing the resulting disinfectant-infused water with other toilet cleaners is not recommended to avoid potentially dangerous chemical reactions, so I opt for liquid soap and scrub with a toilet brush from time to time. We don't have particularly hard water, so we don't build up any noticeable mineral deposits between cleanings. The tablets have a slight bleach odor but not as strong as standard chlorine tablets. I don't know the common name for the sanitizing chemical on the ingredients, but these are not standard household bleach. The cartridge remains half full of water after rinsing, so the remaining liquid can be over-concentrated by soaking the slowly dissolving tablets. .
