Review on πŸ”Œ Stanley 32060 Outrigger Grounded 7-Outlet Portable Power Station with Wrap and Go Feature by Joseph Cvetkovic

A piece of junk. c Extension cord and surge protector

Housing in either Styrene or ABS plastic. It is not nylon and there is no fiberglass reinforcement. If dropped, it will break or tear. The hinges and base covers are made of the same materials, so they will break within a month of normal use. To top it off, the black rubberized sections aren't even molded, just sprayed on. Parts rattle inside the case so I opened it up. Therefore, neither the live nor the neutral voltage is properly insulated. The copper wire used for all three conductors was badly corroded and had a patina to rival that of the Statue of Liberty. How did it manage to get Canadian UL approval (stricter than the US approval process) without double insulation, or at least no double insulation? heavy connectors for conductors? Not only that, but the sockets were the source of all the rattling plastic. I didn't even plug anything in and the connectors fell apart. The plugs were ETL stamped, which according to UL documentation would have prevented this product from being UL listed in the first place as each component must be UL certified individually. This is why NEC requires AFCI circuit breakers for new builds. Only buy this if you want to sue Stanley if someone dies or the building burns down.
