Fulfills its task perfectly. It gives off cool air and keeps the room cool. However, the air is very light and not that strong and I can't feel it further than 5ft. That's why I said small office or small bedroom. Works great on a desk during work or on a bedside table near your head at night. You'll need at least two for a small living room, or a second larger fan to cool the room completely. For a larger room than listed I would recommend (on this basis) a large tower fan with a similar cooling system (which I will do).
