Used to replace another antenna booster I had and suspected it wasn't working as well as it should. To confirm my results, I simply used the TV's built-in signal strength meter for testing. This amp should have a much higher gain. And it added a little more signal, but not much. The gain control didn't seem to do much either: I almost only got three results, such as "no signal", "medium signal" and "medium +" signal (ie: slightly more signal on the TV). I like that it has a built in splitter: less cable clutter for me and potentially less signal loss. Well built for indoor use. Just out of curiosity I tried an experiment: Putting two amps in series hoping to get even more gain. Results: no. Nothing. Even worse or no TV signal. No one blames any of the manufacturers: no one has claimed or suggested that this would be possible.
