If I could give no stars I would. I really wanted them to work. I have normal ankles and the sock portion still feels tight around my ankles. I'm not sure if it's because I have narrow flat feet, but the heel of these shoes is significantly higher than the rest of the shoes. My feet kept sliding forward, causing my toes to bang against the front of the shoe as I walked. There is absolutely no bow support. And in the heel is something like jelly with a metal frame which made it very difficult for me on the heel. I work a 12 hour shift as an RT and before I could get to work in the first hour my legs were throbbing. I work in the ER and ICU and didn't have spare shoes. By the end of my 12-hour shift, I felt like I was walking on my tiptoes all night. They are also not slip-ons. in summary. They look like the picture. You feel terrible. And these aren't real slip-ons. I DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone, especially healthcare workers. I'm going back to my Brooks.
