Outstanding properties! The lid does not get lost and lies flat!
I bought this ripper after a capless round ripper (first thing I lose) rolled off the table between my legs. I bent my legs together and thrust the tip into my inner thigh. I felt a small prick, but continued stitching until I realized I was bleeding profusely. It's small and I lost the first one in my cluttered sewing room. For the second one, I made a holder that can be worn around the wrist, around the neck, or hung from a hook.
