Fits my 03 Excursion 4x4 with 6.0 PSD like a glove. I don't know why people put so much emphasis on installation. This is just a shock. The installation took me 5 minutes. I even used the included brake hardware and used the OEM hardware on the passenger side axle. Then I put a nice sticker on the new shock absorber. !Update: March 2020: on my 3rd b.c. I keep breaking that stabilizer bar shock absorber when driving off-road
