Review on Bluetooth Thermometer Wireless Digital Grilling by Chelsea Martin

The first thing I don't like about this device is that you have to turn on "location" when connected to a phone. I don't understand this as it connects via bluetooth. I feel like this app is following me. The temperature reading seems inaccurate. I used it for smoking and my smoker has its own thermometer. The reason I have this is so I can control the temperature even when I'm not in front of a smoker. I've used this a few times and found the difference is about 10 degrees compared to a smoker thermometer. The reason I think this device is inaccurate is that when this device gives an alarm indicating it has reached the desired temperature, the meat is not fully cooked. When my smoker thermometer has reached the right temperature, I see that the meat is cooked to my liking. And when I compare 2 readings, there is a discrepancy. Please note: I measure the temperature with both sensors in almost the same place.
