I'm looking for a light for my garage. Our current light wasn't bright enough. We originally used a single LED bulb but unfortunately even the 60w LED wasn't bright enough to see fallen screws under the car or get enough light to see shelves etc. After unpacking it felt a bit heavy. I tried testing it on a regular lamp base but my table lamp had a shade that got in the way. I was also concerned about the placement of the directional LEDs because dark spots can appear where there is no light. But after hooking it up to my garage, no "blind spots" or shadowing issues. The LEDs themselves are essentially emitters. Everything is aluminum, so there's no cheap plastic feel. The LEDs were blindingly bright (good for my situation). Turning it on in the garage made me realize how dirty it is and how to paint the walls. This light is incredibly bright. And no whining or buzzing LEDs. I like the aluminum construction because I dropped it at first and was worried about damaging it. Without damage. I think this product is very well made and the LEDs are really white so it gives accurate color rendition for me when working with wires under the hood of my car. I am very impressed with this first design. I touched the LED after use to see if it got hot and it was warm but not flammable compared to other bulbs. The aluminum construction and the very bright atmosphere are impressive and a must see. I left this thing on for about 12 hours to see if any of the LEDs burned out. Nothing so far. The brightest LED I have ever seen. Shame my car with its headlights. Definitely impressed. True white color, durable body, incredibly bright and looks pretty cool. It's settled. What is outstanding. Can be focused down or all around. Extremely versatile. Some useful features that we'd like to see implemented in the future are the ability to dim the lights, color options and smart home connectivity. These are just bells and whistles, for this light is very useful in its own right. Unexpected delight in the review.
