I'm a bit of a security freak, having had my personal information stolen three times. But I put off buying it for my LastPass account because I really couldn't figure out how they work. There are many videos on how to set up Yubikeys, but few show how to actually use them. Well, finally I broke down and got one. As promised, the integration with LastPass is very simple and very easy to use. When I launch my browser, a screen appears asking me to click a button in Yubikey's sidebar. When I do this, it automatically inserts a randomly generated security code and gives me access to my browser and LastPass account. After that, it silently waits for the next time I launch the browser. Everything is done easily and quickly.
