Multiple use: Furniture fitting

I have purchased several glass topped tables that lacked bumpers so small tables could be easily and inexpensively attached. Also, my house had just been renovated and all the new doors were hitting the walls, so I put big bumpers on the walls to protect them. Eventually, and I don't know if this one will hold up, but the chain on the new toilet kept wrapping around the lever, so I cut the big bumper in half and clamped it onto the lever to keep the chain from unraveling takes off. Let's see how it goes.
