Review on THINKCAR OBD2 Scanner - THINKTOOL Mini: Full System Car Diagnostic Tool With Lifetime Free Updates, 28 Resets, IMMO/Key Programming & ECU Coding, And Bidirectional Active Testing Car Scan Tool by Fock Dean

This is a one-year subscription based software

I purchased this scanner to maintain my 2 vehicles. After purchasing this item, they want you to buy a a one-year subscription based software. Just another $50 for every manufacturer (Ford, GM, Toyota, Nissan). Without these softwares this is just another OBD2 reader. Additionally, the additional modules mentioned are upgrades. There's no flashlight, no IR scanner, etc. It comes with a thick instruction manual that's about 1/2", but only 10 pages are in English; the rest are the same instructions in 20 different languages. The real turn off is the additional yearly expense on top of what's already invented. I might just try another brand that's more expensive, but offers no additional cost.
