This is a GREAT starter kit that includes 2 levels of embroidery for beginners, all the necessary threads, 2 scissors and hoop and 2 needles. This kit is great value as it has everything you need to get started including instructions and the basic tools you need and the templates are easy to get started. You might need a little tutorial on YouTube to see someone actually do what the illustrations show, but other than that it's a great starter kit and such a small investment that it's worth a bit of trying and completed projects too get and leave the hobby when you're done. Nice gift idea, easy project, all included and overall lots of fun!
