I used it on a field inspection and it helped me many times. I really wanted a ribbon fan after seeing it on Tik Tok but this is what I got and I think it was an adequate replacement. I live in the hot state of Florida and am a female, so having some form of cooling equipment was important. when you work under the Everglade sun. Along with the visor, this thing kept me from overheating, and the combination of flying blades and a light breeze saved me from getting bitten in places where mosquitoes were hunting, waiting to fill their bellies with my blood. I've charged it in the car in between so I haven't had any battery issues, I don't know the actual lifespan of a full charge between uses. I would recommend.
