Review on πŸ’Ό Solo New York Pro Aegis Laptop Briefcase with RFID Pocket - 15.6 Inch, Black by Troy Rotermund

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lightweight overnight bag for carrying thin laptops with a bonus RFID pocket to protect your phone or tablet.

With the new RFID security pocket and thinner laptops, this worked perfectly for me. Strangely, 6 or 7 years ago Dell sold really thin laptops. Then they came out with a bunch of i7 and i5 processors and HD screens and they needed bigger batteries and stuff so even at 15.7 inches my 2012 laptop is too big for that but I've still been using my old Dell since 2007, much thinner so current thinner models that don't have DVD drives and use smaller batteries and more efficient processors are an advantage. Path. I have small tablets and smartphones so the RFID pocket comes in handy, who knows what they will scan at the airport or customs, and even more so at Starbucks or any other place where you can safely use a laptop. The material is dense and should hold up. A small issue but in 15 years I have never dropped a laptop bag so this is not a problem for me, the interior padding is not as good as in the Dell bag for my new laptop. If you travel and travel a lot, keep this in mind. For travel, I also liked how it slips over your regular suitcase extender handle and saves you the hassle of carrying it straight. Be careful though, this can be an easy target in a crowded airport. The price is a bit higher than the offers, but the discounts of around 40 percent make this a pretty good deal. Recommended for anyone with thinner laptops under 15.7 inches. It fits well on a 13 or 14 inch, not just a 15.7, but you can't use any of those fat ones from a few years ago.
