Small but fine in my opinion.
My son is very tall 4 years old. He is on 6/7. I ordered 5-6 knowing these brands are usually small. They work VERY little. The design is cute, the fabric is soft, cotton with an elastic waistband. 7-8 suits him. Same with my 2 year old son. I ordered 3T, 5-6 fit him.
