I bought this head to make my life with a monopod easier. I usually screwed the monopod into the bottom of the camera body, but for portraits I had to unscrew it and hold it with my hand. This swivel head is perfect! Affordable, easy to use. With a monopod I don't need various adjustments. "Portrait" and "Landscape" is all I need when using it. This socket is easy to use and tightens properly. I love it! It has made my life a lot easier. I use it a lot on the golf course at tournaments where I'm always on the go. And the price is unbeatable!
