Recently received an iPad mini that fits in a bag. Does not replace a protective case, and you must remember that the screen will not be scratched by a zipper, but will be placed inside and zippered. Just make sure you choose the size of the zipper pouch, the pencil case will fit the cable and charger. The cover is made of durable plastic fabric, it is wrinkled but does not tear or puncture, the print is clean. I bought this hoping it would fit my kindle, I have a 7 inch kindle and have some space so a bigger one could fit. There's no padding inside the bag, but the inside is smooth, so there's nothing quite like it. It might scratch the screen. When the package arrived there was a faint plastic smell which went away when I opened it and let it air out. I got this because I was curious what the bags and pouches are made of and I thought so It was a design that I could easily combine with my other fancy bags.
