Review on Alpinestars Andes Drystar Motorcycle Pants by Greg Wilkerson

I usually wear a size XL for most sports and other branded gear. I originally ordered size 2XL from Revzilla as I had already ordered several boots. I ended up sending them back, tried the Revain 3XL. The waist is still too small. Went with the 4XL from Revain which is the largest size in my opinion. They fit me, although I like a bit of room in my touring pants. Underneath there is enough space for a pair of jeans +/jogging pants. I bought these together with the Alpinestars Andes V3 Drystar 2XL Riding Textile Jacket. They go well together and the zipper on the back of both pieces allows you to zip them together if you want; I don't usually do this because every time I get on or off my sport bike it causes me problems. The protection from rain and cold is just phenomenal! The coldest temperatures I've seen this winter were in the 25 to 30 degree Fahrenheit range and I didn't get cold at all and if I got caught in a downpour or drizzle the Drystar membrane protected me completely. dry. If you're like me and don't want to deal with warming up the gear and then converting the bike to support it, just buy this suit. That's the real deal. A few notes: the armor is built-in, so don't buy it expecting it to be replaced with something more permanent. Also, these pants bunch up a bit when you stand up, although if you've ever worn a tracksuit/camper you know that's normal as they're designed to sit.
