Well I didn't pay much for this grapefruit gear set so I didn't have high expectations. And yet I was very disappointed. The spoons are very narrow, I could hardly hold a piece of grapefruit on them. The knife wasn't really bent. It was just curved, not sharp. After doing my best to cut my grapefruit in half, which was sawing rather than slicing, the sections weren't cut completely. When I tried to extract the slices with a narrow spoon, I got a gooey pulp of grapefruit. I've been eating grapefruit for 40 years, so I'm not new to the process. I threw away everything but the plastic container and a spoon to bid the time before buying better elsewhere.
