I first bought a square box for my trailer instead of a tapered one because I needed extra space. After cutting sharply and damaging my truck and toolbox, I decided to settle for a tapered box. I found this one which is about 6 inches larger than the square block I had and larger than most tapered blocks I've found. I can get everything here that I had left over in another with space. After a $1400 damage, I'd like to do that at the beginning. This device is very well made and durable. Take up more space over 16 inches
