update: they have become my favorite shoe! They are cute and comfortable for a long time! Haven't tried running or training with them yet. They're breathable, which is good, but they're not the best when they get wet. The shoes are cute and comfortable at a reasonable price. I usually wear between 7 and 8 depending on shoe type/brand. I ordered a size 7 and 8 to see which fits better as they don't offer half sizes. In a size 7, my toe touched when I walked, but a size 8 felt too big for me. I removed the insole and replaced it with a thicker one, which seems to have helped. I chose to keep the 8 and find them breathable and comfortable (again, I have my own insole in them). The tongue is attached to the boot, depending on how tight you tie them they may bunch up.
