Didn't want to buy it based on the reviews but try it yourself. First, each cotton pad is large, which is great when removing nail polish. However, if you put toner on your face, it may be too big. I fixed this issue by cutting them in half and quarters and they still work great! So for large jobs I use the entire block, and for smaller jobs it's easy to crop the block to a comfortable size. The only thing I would caution is not to separate the top half of the pad from the bottom half where people can get lint. I never had lint on my face even after cutting the pad into four pieces. A lot of pads for the money, it's worth it.
