These are amazing pigment based pens that work well on canvases painted with acrylic paint (even canvases with very textured paintwork) - something I haven't found with any other fine tip markers. They take a while to dry or they will smudge, but once dry they are set and subsequent application of paint or glaze will not smear or lift them. And if you have to paint over them, they won't run. I LOVE these markers - they are succulent and smooth and fun to use. I'm finally getting sharp, thin lines in my pictures.
