Much bigger than expected and not for AM radio

Bought to replace a lost Lefon L-908 radio. Wanted to buy another but on this Revain page this Prunus radio was shown in the description and the photos were at the bottom of the page. I've seen it have a lock feature, which the Lefon sorely lacks, and it's powered by the same batteries. So I bought it immediately. However, I didn't realize how big this thing was. It doesn't fit in any of my shirt pockets where I wanted to. The interesting tiny speaker in this Prunus radio is only about 3.5 cm or 1-3/8 inches in diameter. Next to it is a small passive speaker. .A piece of plastic suspended from a piece of foam that should give you more bass. It sounds good on FM stations but not AM radio stations. I only bought it to listen to the local high power AM station. This speaker gives me the most penetrating, almost unbearable sound. You have to turn around to face the wall. The smaller Lefon radio had a much larger speaker and sounded better, but I hated it for its lack of a lock feature. It comes with a standard BL-5C battery with a capacity of just 1200mAh. I replaced it with a 1500mah battery and it lasts MUCH longer. Buy a pair of these 1500mah or 1600mah batteries so you can use 1200mah for several days with 3 batteries. I agree with others that the gray letters on black are very difficult to see. But I see that on other devices too. After a while you will remember what it is. I haven't tried to record or play with this radio yet and maybe I don't need it. does not work with the AM/FM radio portion which also requires an equalizer. It might be $16 but I paid $22 - the price seems to have gone up lately. Not sure if it's worth it. I'm keeping it to myself, but I still need a pocket radio.
